The Norborne Lady Pirates softball team came out with guns blazing Saturday at the Class 1 District 13 title game in Polo.

Norborne scored in the bottom of the first to take a 1-0 lead, and that would be the only time the Lady Pirates would cross home plate.

Dekalb managed to put together strong second and third inning offensive performances that yielded a total of four runs, and that was enough as they held the Lady Pirates scoresless the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 victory and the Class 1 District 13 title.
