The President of the United States of America will be in Liberty Friday afternoon. Barack Obama will tour the Ford Motor Company’s new stamping plant to illustrate the comeback of the nation’s auto industry.
This week marks the five-year anniversary the country’s near-financial meltdown.
Missouri lawmakers approved an incentives packaging for automotive manufacturing in 2010. The new facility was constructed with the help of $5.6 million in incentives from the state.
Governor Jay Nixon and Senator Claire McCaskill also plan to attend.
