Odessa Accident Causes Brief Power Outage

“It was a pretty simple one car slide-off. Hit the utility pole. And a couple of hours, power and cable was restored and everybody was back to normal,” said Bellmeyer.

There were no injuries involved in the incident. “I wasn’t on scene, but the guys did tell me that there was a couple other cars that slid off in that same vicinity,” said Bellmeyer. “No property damage within the same time frame that they were working that.”

Power was briefly out, but crews quickly restored the connection to the neighborhood. The crash occurred at the intersection of Dryden and 7th Streets.
