Odessa Hires City Planner

A Planning and Development Director from Washington State has been hired for Odessa.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with William Osborne:

His background is in comprehensive planning.  “Also it’s a little bit of economic development, research analysis, and also outreach.  And historic preservation is another interest of mine,” said Osborne.

He plans to work on updating the city’s comprehensive master plan.  “This is an area in which I have quite a bit of experience, working with a vision and planning documents that sets out the goals and policies for the future of the community,” said Osborne, “And I’m looking to working with the community, and to finding out not only what Odessa is about, but also what it wants to be, and to help them to get there.”

Osborne is set to start in the administrative position later this month.
