Odessa Man Injured in Mon. Morning Crash

A two vehicle crash in Johnson County injured an Odessa resident Monday morning.

The highway patrol reports a vehicle driven northbound on US 50 at Missouri 131 by 20-year-old Brett Carlyle attempted to cross 50 and failed to yield to a westbound Freightliner driven by 41-year-old Keith Collins of Warrensburg.

The collision moderately injured Carlyle; he was transported to Research Hospital for treatment.
