The Odessa Park Board recently reached the $40,000 goal for a challenge grant. The campaign was initiated by Partners for Parks President, Cinda Dowell.

Other donations include $2,700 from the Clothes Closet, which helped the board reach the $40,000 mark. That money will now be matched in labor and materials by KAT Excavation.

Work will begin soon on the walking trail at Centennial Hills and the conversion of the former tennis court into an outdoor basketball court is set to get underway soon.
