Old Fitzgibbon Hospital Rezoned

When it was a functioning facility, the building was zoned R-1.  It then was changed to planned development, which allows developers to zone properties as needed, then obtain approval.  The planning and zoning voted it be changed to R-2, which allows for two-familty residences.  Permits can be obtained to allow other types of buildings.

The change was approved at Tuesday night’s meeting.  It now moves on to the City Council.
