One of Three Marshall Suspects Apprehended

A home invasion and robbery in Marshall on Friday involved three suspects and one is now in custody. The Marshall Police Department reports Tonya Martin, 34, of Marshall, was apprehended Friday night and charged with first degree robbery and armed criminal action. She is currently in the Saline County Jail on a $50,000 cash only bond.

Marshall Police say they have information on the two black male suspects and are currently working on obtaining their locations.

On Friday, 07-12-2013 at approximately 1600 hours, 2 black males and 1 white female entered a residence in Marshall, Missouri by breaking down the front door.  The subjects entered the residence and confronted the homeowner.  A fight broke out between the homeowner and the male subjects.

During the altercation one black male displayed a firearm and the fight ended.  The subjects then took several items from the home and departed in a red Dodge Durango.

On Friday, 07-12-2013 at approximately 9:00 p.m. Marshall Police arrested a female subject identified as Tonya Martin, age 34, of Marshall, Missouri in connection with the robbery which occurred late afternoon on Friday, 07-12-2013.

Ms. Martin was charged with Burglary, Robbery 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action and is currently at the Saline County Jail on a $50,000.00 cash only bond.

Marshall Police have information on the two male subjects involved in the robbery and are currently investigating their whereabouts.

The investigation is ongoing.
