Pedestrain Struck and Killed on I-70

An Oak Grove resident was killed in an accident shortly after midnight on Sunday.  According to the Highway Patrol,  Larry Roberts, 69, from Ashland, Kentucky, was traveling east bound on 1-70 when he struck and killed a pedestrian listed as Jubar Jones, 30.  Jones was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jackson County Medical Examiner.
