The 1:30 court docket Monday afternoon in Pettis and Caldwell Counties features two cases, including one that dates back to 2007.
The first relates to a traffic stop in Pettis Co. that landed a Sedalia man in jail on August 17th. That infraction may put him behind bars for a previous conviction.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Malcolm Briscoe, 22, was arrested on a felony warrant for allegedly violating an order of protection. Briscoe also had another warrant for failing to appear in court, as well as a second felony warrant for probation violation, related to aggravated assault.
Briscoe is scheduled for a hearing n Pettis Co.
The second case is in Caldwell Co. against a Cowgill man.
Robert J. Loveall, 43, is charged with statutory rape, child molestation, incest and endangering the welfare of a child related to events more than six years ago. The case has been continued numerous times and Monday’s proceeding is anticipated to include a plea and the scheduling of a trial.
Judge Chapman will oversee that case.
