Platte Co. Man Arrested

Members of the Platte County Cyber Crimes Unit made an arrest Friday following an on-going investigation. According to the Platte County Sheriff’s Office a 26-year-old Platte County man was arrested for enticement of a child in the 2700 block of Northwest Prairie View Road. His identity has not yet been released pending the filing of formal charges, nor were their details of the alleged crime given. Earlier on Friday a Higginsville man was arrested by the Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force in an on-going investigation, it’s not clear if the crimes were related. The Platte County Cyber Crimes Unit is part of the Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force which covers multiple jurisdictions in 27 western Missouri counties.
