Update (2:30 p.m.) – Lafayette County Sheriff Kerrick Alumbaugh said Saturday morning’s “activity” at a home on Highway 224 was related to a report of a stolen motorcycle. He said the owner later located the bike. Alumbaugh also added that deputies were investigating a domestic dispute in the Wellington area. He said his office isn’t currently working any major cases at this time.
KMZU listeners have reported and officials have confirmed that multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a home on Highway 224, approximately one mile west of Lexington, shortly after 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Lafayette County could not be reached for comment. No other details have been released at this time. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
