Police Ask Assistance In Robbery I.D.

On March 10, 2014, shortly before 10 p.m., deputies responded to the Wood Oil Convenience Store near Beverly, Missouri, on a reported armed robbery.  The unknown suspects are two white males, believed to be in their early 20s.  One of the suspects is described as approximately 5’08”, thin build, light brown or blond hair, and no facial hair.  He wore a green military style winter stocking cap and held a light-colored garment over the lower portion of his face.  He pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the cashier and demanded money.  The second suspect is 5’06” – 5’08”, and had dark-colored hair.  He wore a purple shirt, dark-colored jeans, black shoes with white around the bottom, and he held a white T-shirt over his mouth.

The suspects left the store with $775 in cash.

A possible suspect vehicle is an early 1990s Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus, white in color. Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to call the Platte County Sheriff’s Office at (816) 858-3521 and ask to speak with Detective Gary Davis, or call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
