Police Continue to Investigate Alleged Rape
The Marceline Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol continue to investigate an alleged sexual assault. Police Chief Chris Arnold said the department’s initial findings have been sent to the lab for further evaluation.

Arnold added that there have been no new leads at this time.

The incident was believed to have occurred in early May and sent shock waves through the community. Arnold said the alleged assault was an isolated incident and resident should continue to feel safe.
