Possible Homicide in Warrensburg

A 9/11 call for shots fired Saturday night about 9:30, sent Warrensburg police to the 1000 block of Sunflower. Once on scene, officers found the body of 25-year-old William “Blaine” Whitworth inside the residence. The Warrensburg Police department says the Missouri Rural Major Case Squad will be called in as this is believed to be a possible homicide.
