Members of the Sedalia City Council will gather Monday evening in the Mayors Conference Room for a Pre-Council Meeting. Click to listen to KMZU’s Sarah Scott talk with City Administrator Gary Edwards.
The agenda will include a variety of issues, including talks regarding storage of the new fire truck and a review for bids on a Vacuum Truck. Council will also hear from several committee leaders. According to City Administrator Gary Edwards, the intersection of West 10th Street and Winchester Drive will also be an important topic.
“There was a significant amount of discussion related to this issue. Should there be a four way stop as opposed to the current two way stop at this location,” said Edwards. “The requirements for a four way stop are not being met by the traffic there at this time.”
Talks get underway at 6:45 p.m. Monday in the Mayors Conference Room located in the City’s Municipal Building.
