An eight-day annual event will begin on July 12 in Ray County. Click to hear KMZU’s Brian Locke speak with 4-H Specialist Nancy Coleman.
Coleman said the fair will feature a new event this year. “We will have kick-off night on Friday night at 8 p.m. There will be a band, so it will just be an adult event with music and socializing.”
She added Saturday will be a lot of fun with a variety of activities. “We are having our 4h shooting sports event at 8 a.m. At 10 a.m. we have another new event, which is our classic car, truck, and hot rod show. Then at 2 p.m. we will have our 4h and FFA country cured ham judging. And finally at 6 p.m. our Super Teen Contest will begin.”
The fair will take place from July 12-20. Admission is free; costs vary for specific events.
