Public Comments Wanted on Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site

On Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 the public is invited to an informational meeting being held at Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site. There will be a variety of topics covered during this gathering.

“This is part of an ongoing effort by the Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input regarding the facilities and services offereed in state parks and historic sites,” said Marissa Cowen – Natural Resource Manager at Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site

Discussions will get underway at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8th, 2014. Bothwell Lodge is just seven miles north of Sedalia, off Highway 655 on Bothwell State Park Road in Pettis County.

The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting at Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site on Tuesday, July 8. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the park’s picnic shelter.

 

Park representatives will provide information on recent accomplishments and future plans for the facility and will be available to answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about park services and operations. This meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input regarding the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.

 

Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site is located seven miles north of Sedalia, off Highway 65 on Bothwell State Park Road in Pettis County.
