Ray Co. Crash Injures Area Man

A two vehicle crash in Ray County Monday afternoon just after 12 o’clock injured a Richmond man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports George Shaunissey, 78, of Overland Park, Ks. was eastbound on County road 140 when he slowed to make a turn onto a private drive. A vehicle behind him driven by Daniel Clinesmith, 30, began to slide on the gravel when he tried to slow down. His vehicle then struck the rear of Shaunissey’s and came to a stop

Chaunissey was not injured. Clinesmith was transported to Ray County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
