Ray County crash leaves Rayville driver in critical condition

RAY COUNTY, Mo. — A Rayville man was seriously injured early Friday morning in a crash in Rayville.

The Missouri Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident at Nolker Road at the intersection with 186th Street in Rayville around 1:40 a.m.

Investigators found that a vehicle driven by Jeremy D. Novak, 34 was northbound on Nolker when it ran off the right side of the roadway and stuck a tree.

Novak, who according to the filed crash report was not wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries in the collision.

He was taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital to receive care.
