Registration deadline for Primary Election ends Wednesday

CARROLLTON, Mo.- Today is the last day to register to be eligible to vote in the August Primary Election throughout the state of Missouri.

Courthouses across the KMZU listening area will be open till 5:00 p.m., accepting registrations and providing absentee ballots. Party Primaries are held in even numbered years to nominate candidates for the General Election in November, therefore only one party ballot can be selected. When requesting your ballot you must indicate Party Preference of Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Constitution or Green.

Absentee Voters may obtain their ballot in person at your local county clerk’s office or request one by mail. The last day to Absentee Vote in person is Monday, August 6, at 5:00 P.M.
