Responders Handle Anhydrous Ammonia Leak

Update 8:30 – The Carroll County Sheriff has reported the leak is insignificant and there is no danger in the area.

Several agencies are responding to a report of an anhydrous ammonia leak west of Hale.  According to scanner traffic, the chemical odor was detected at the MFA station on State Highway J.  There have been no reports of any mandatory evacuations in the area.
