Results of Swine Show at 2014 Carroll County Fair

On Thursday, July 10th, 2014 area youth got out to show their prized pigs at the 2014 Carroll County Fair!

There were 90 head of livestock exhibited at the Walnut Hills Show barn during the event.

Brian William of Princeton served as judge for the breeding swine class, that kicked off the show.
Zack Craven from Norborne, Missouri received the Supreme Champion Boar for his Yorkshire.

 

Emily Miller of Hale, Missouri received Reserve with her Spotted Poland Boar.

The Market Hog Show followed with Harley Wooldridge of Carrollton, Missouri taking first place. Second place went to Kade Marnin of Mendon, Missouri.
Awards presented to the winners were sponsored by Carroll County Beef and Pork Palace and the Carroll County Pork Producers. Ten cents a point was donated by Carroll County Trust Company and Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. and five cents a point was donated by Ag-Power Inc. Ribbons were sponsored by FCS Financial.

 
Showmanship ended the show with Julia Stimpson of Chillicothe, Missouri winning the Junior Division and Zach Craven of Norborne, Missouri winning the Senior Division. These awards were sponsored by Lock Farm Equipment.
