Officers in Richmond responded to an incident involving a firearm at a residence in the 100 block of Grandview Street Sunday night. According to the press release, a call came into the department at approximately 9:00 p.m. with the victim reporting a male roommate had placed a gun to the victim’s head and made threats prior to leaving the residence. A search of the area resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old Richmond resident. Charges are pending as the investigation continues. No further details are being released at this time.
On March 3rd, 2013 at 9:01 p.m. officers from the Richmond Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Grandview Street in reference to an assault involving a firearm.
Upon arrival the victim reported a male subject, who was a roommate, pulled a handgun on the victim and placed the gun to the victims head where threats were made by the suspect before the suspect ran from the residence.
An area canvass was conducted by officers where the suspect, a 37 year old Richmond man, was located on Wilson Boulevard near Richmond Avenue and taken into custody.
