Richmond Council Meeting Changes Format

The Richmond City Council meeting Tuesday evening will have a different setup than  usual.  Click to hear KMZU’s Mike Stone speak with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:

They will meet for a work session one hour prior to the regular meeting.  “We’re hoping with this, by doing the work session, the committees can detail questions that they have and they can work through those prior to the council meeting, and then in the actual council meeting just move through the business rather quickly,” said Brohammer.

Some issues brought forward by the Public Safety Committee regarding problems with police and fire department radio transmissions is on the agenda.  They also plan to set the filing date deadlines for the April elections and discuss GIS maps.  The work session starts at 5:30 and their regulary meeting will begin at 6:30.
