Stosberg says Michelle Rheuport, 40, was discovered by her teenage son inside her home in the four hundred block of Farris Avenue.  Brandon Simpson, 25, James Gant, and Lauren Gabbard, 23, have been charged with murder, burglary, and stealing.  Simpson is accused of taking electronics from the home and then strangling Rheuport.  Gant and Gabbard’s roles, according to court documents, were to keep Rheuport’s 17-year-old son away from the home.  Authorities say a series of text messages implicated all three in the crime.
