Richmond resident preliminarily charged with felony for driving while intoxicated

RAY COUNTY, Mo. — A Richmond resident was arrested and preliminarily charged with a felony in Ray County on Thursday.

Matthew Arnold, 30, was arrested at 4:31 p.m., according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Arnold was preliminarily charged with felonious driving while intoxicated, in addition to a misdemeanor for careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.

Arnold was taken to Ray County Jail, where he as placed on a 12-hour hold. Formal charges are currently pending.
