Richmond Water Rate Increase

The City Council of Richmond met in regular session Tuesday evening with a discussion on the second incremental increase for the base water rate for residents to fund the new wastewater treatment plant. City Administrator Ron Brohammer talks about the steps council needs to take and why the increase in the first place.

The current rate of $10.09 will go up to $15.09; council will hold a public meeting June 25th for comment from residents before final approval.
