Richmond woman injured in boating incident Sunday

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Water Patrol responded to a call for a woman who had fallen overboard at the Lake of the Ozarks Sunday evening.

According to an incident report, 64-year-old Sunrise Beach resident James W. Gillham was driving his boat at the 13 mile marker on the main channel of the lake Sunday evening when a passenger, 44-year-old Sherri Charles, of Richmond, fell overboard after the boat decelerated at about 7:11 p.m. Sunday.

Charles sustained minor injuries in the fall. She was treated at Lake Regional Hospital.
