What was first reported as shots fired between two vehicles Thursday afternoon turned out to be a case of road rage and a broken window.

Cameron Police were called just after 1 p.m. to the area of I-35 and Highway 36. Once the victim was contacted officers learned a window on their vehicle had been broken during an altercation with another driver. There were no injuries.

Further investigation led authorities from the Cameron P.D., State Highway Patrol and Clinton Co. Sheriff’s Office to Cody Gormley, 23. The Cameron man was arrested and charged with alleged assault and careless and reckless driving.
