New Work Today and Updates/Changes
Route C: Resurfacing will restrict traffic to one lane, flagger controlled, on Route C between Route 71 in Peculiar and Route 2 in Freeman from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, October 8, through Friday, October 19.
Route 71: Pavement construction to extend and realign the ramp will close the right lane of northbound Route 71 at the ramp from Route 7, and the northbound and southbound ramps at Route 2 in Harrisonville from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through October 31.
Route 71: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 71 in each direction near Route 7 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day through October 5.
Clay County

I-35: Temporary barrier installation at night will restrict traffic on northbound and southbound I-35 between Route 152 and Pleasant Valley Road from 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, and again Wednesday night into Thursday morning, October 11.
95th Terrace: Completion and opening of the northbound ramps to 96th Street at the new Route 169 interchange will permanently close 95th Terrace between Route 169 and View Crest Drive at 9 a.m. Thursday, October 11. The new ramps from 96th Street to southbound Route 169 are scheduled to open November 1.
I-435: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on the ramp from 108th Street to eastbound I-435 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. through October 8.
Route 1: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on Route 1 between I-35 and 72nd Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through December 1.
Route 69: Milling and resurfacing will restrict both northbound and southbound Route 69 between I-35 and Fishing River through December 1.
Route 169: Pavement construction will close 96th Street at Route 169 through November 1.
Route 169: Bin Wall replacement and bridge rehabilitation have closed Route 169 (the Broadway Extension) through December 16. Access to the Wheeler Downtown Airport is provided.
Route 169: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on Route 169 in each direction between 108th Street and Route 152 through November 5.

Route 78: Milling and asphalt resurfacing will restrict eastbound Route 78 to a single lane between I-435 and McCoy Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, through October 18.
Route 71: Temporary barrier installation will close the left lane of northbound Route 71 between Bannister Road and Red Bridge Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, October 8-9.
Route 150: Guard rail and sign truss footing installation will close the left lane of westbound Route 150 between Colorado Avenue and Botts Road from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, October 5.
I-435: Sign truss repairs at night will close the left side of the ramp from northbound I-435 to Truman Road from 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 4, to 5:30 a.m. Friday, October 5.
Botts Road: New road construction will close Botts Road between the Grandview city limits and 149th Street from 9 a.m. Monday, November 1, through Friday, November 30.
I-435: Pavement repairs at night will restrict traffic on northbound and southbound I-435 near Front Street from 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, to 5 a.m. Thursday, October 4, and again Thursday night into Friday, October 5.
Route 7: Pavement marking will restrict traffic on Route 7 between Pink Hill Road and Mock Avenue from 7 p.m. Monday, October 1, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, and each night through Friday, October 5.
Route 71: Bridge maintenance will close a lane of northbound Route 71 between I-70 and 11th Street from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, October 4.
Route 78: Milling and asphalt resurfacing will restrict Route 78 to a single lane between Truman Road and Route 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, October 3-5.
Route 150: Construction of the ramp transition to a new interchange will close the right lane of westbound Route 150 between Botts Road and Prospect Avenue from 9 a.m. Thursday, October 4, through 5 p.m. Sunday, October 14.
Route V: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on Route V between Noland Road and Little Blue Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. October 1, through October 11.
Route 71: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on Route 71 between Route OO and I-435 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. through November 1.
I-435: Pavement repair will close various lanes of north and southbound I-435 between Wilson road and MO River from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Oct. 3-5.
Route AA: Box culvert construction will close Route AA between Yennie Avenue and Walnut Street in Grain Valley beginning 7 a.m. Monday, September 10, through December 14.
Route AA: New pavement construction will restrict traffic on Route AA near Route 40 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday, September 10, through early December.
I-435: Sign/signal work will close a lane of southbound I-435 between 87th Street and Route 71 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. August 27-December 14.
I-470: Sign/signal work will close a lane of westbound I-470 between James A Reed Road and Route 71 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through December 14.
Route 24: Roadside work will restrict traffic on Route 24 at Blue Mills Road through October 1.
Route 7: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 7 in each direction between Route 40 and Pink Hill Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Nov. 30.
Route AA: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route AA in each direction near Route 40 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through October 31.

Route 9: Bridge painting will close various lanes of southbound Route 9 south of Horizons Parkway to just north of the the ramp to northbound I-635 from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Saturday, October 20.
Route 9: Bridge painting will close the ramp from northbound Route 9 to southbound I-635 through Saturday, October 6. Motorists may access southbound I-635 by taking northbound Route 9 to Horizons Parkway.
Route 45: New intersection construction will close Blair Road north of Route 45 from 9 a.m. Monday, October 8, through November 8. Access to Blair Road will be from Graden Road.
I-635: Bridge deck repairs will close the right lane of both southbound and northbound I-635 bridge over the Missouri River. As work in each lane is completed, the lane closure will move to next lane until all lanes are repaired. The work continues through October 24.
Route 69: Bridge maintenance has closed Route 69 between Route A and Waukomis Drive through October 31.
