New Work Today and Updates/Changes
Route 71: Pavement repairs will close two lanes of northbound Route 71 between Old State Hwy Y and Blue Ridge Blvd. from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. through August 4.
Route 58: Resurfacing will close a lane of Route 58 between Route 291 and Route CC from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. through August 30.
Route 58: Drainage work at the Jefferson Street roundabout will restrict traffic on Route 58 between Hawthorne Drive and Manor Court in Belton beginning 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through August 22.
Route 71: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 71 in each direction near Route 7 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day through October 5.
Route 71: Bridge deck replacement will close the Routes C and J bridge over Route 71 in Peculiar for 35 days through August 10. All ramps will be open to and from Route 71.

Route 1: Utility work will restrict traffic on Route 1 at Parvin Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, August 1-3.
Route 169: Retaining wall removal and slope repairs will close the ramp from northbound Route 169 to eastbound Route 152 from 9 a.m. Monday, July 30, through August 31.
Route H: Utility work will restrict traffic on eastbound Route H between McCleary Road and Route JJ from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through August 3.
Route 169: Bin Wall replacement and bridge rehabilitation have closed Route 169 (the Broadway Extension) through December 16. Access to the Wheeler Downtown Airport is provided.
I-35: Bridge maintenance will close one lane of I-35 in each direction at Lightburne Road from July 12 to September 5.
Route 69: Bridge replacement will reduce Route 69 to one lane in both directions between Chandler and East Heartland Drive north of Liberty through August 1.
Route 169: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on Route 169 in each direction between 108th Street and Route 152 through November 5.

I-70: Bridge maintenance will close two lanes of eastbound I-70 between Brooklyn and Prospect from 7:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Aug 1-2.
I-35: Bridge maintenance will close two lanes of northbound I-35 at Southwest Blvd. from 7:30 p.m. to2 a.m. Aug 1-2.
I-70: Sign work will close a lane of eastbound I-70 at Truman Road from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. through August 4.
I-35: Sign maintenance will restrict traffic on southbound I-35 at I-670 from 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, to 5 a.m. Thursday, August 2, and each night through Sunday, August 5.
Route 71: Pavement repairs at night will restrict traffic on northbound and southbound Route 71 from Blue Ridge Boulevard to 163rd Street in Belton from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night through Friday, August 4.
Route 150: New ramp construction will close the right lane of westbound Route 150 between Colorado Avenue and Thunderbird Road from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 30, through August 4.
Route 40: Paving will reduce eastbound and westbound Route 40 to one lane between Sterling Avenue in Independence to Route BB in Grain Valley from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through September 23.
Route 24: Roadside work will restrict traffic on Route 24 at Blue Mills Road through October 1.
Route 71: Bridge deck work will close a lane of northbound and southbound Route 71 between 283rd Street and 327th Street from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on northbound lanes and from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on southbound lanes through August 3.
I-70: Shoulder work will close one lane of I-70 between Sterling and Blue Ridge Cutoff from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August 8.
Route 7: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 7 in each direction between Route 40 and Pink Hill Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Nov. 30.
Route AA: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route AA in each direction near Route 40 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from July 9 to October 31.
Route BB: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route BB in each direction near Route 40 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from July 9 to October 31.
Route 40: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 40 in each direction between Route AA and Route BB from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 9 to October 31.

Route 50: Resurfacing work will reduce Route 50 to one lane in each direction between Route 131 and Route F from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through August 31.
Route 58: Bridge repair will close Route 58 between Route F and County Road 105 through August 17. Drivers will need to seek an alternative route.

I-29: Pavement repairs will close two lanes of I-29 between Mexico City Avenue and I-435 from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. through August 2.
Route 45: Resurfacing will close a lane of Route 45 between Routes JJ and 59 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. through August 30.
Route 45: Road work will close north Crooked Road just north of Route 45 from August 10-September 10.
I-29 Outer Road: Milling and resurfacing will restrict traffic on I-29 Outer Road between Route 9 and 56th Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, through Monday, August 6.
Route 9: Milling and resurfacing will restrict traffic on Prairie View Road between Route 9 and 56th Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, through Monday, August 6.
Route FF: Core drilling will restrict traffic on Route FF between Chapel Road and Route 9 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, August 1-2.
Route 45: Construction of a two-lane roundabout will re-open National Drive north of Route 45 on Friday, August 10, but subsequently close North Crooked Road at 9 a.m. that same day. North Crooked Road will remain closed through September 10. Access for streets north of Route 45 will be through National Drive from August 10 through September 10.
Route 45: New highway construction to connect to the new bridge will close northbound and southbound Route 45 between Main Street and NW Baker Road in Farley from 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, through August 14.
Route 45: Construction of a two-lane roundabout has closed National Drive north of Route 45 through Friday, August 10. Access for streets north of Route 45 at National Drive will be through North Crooked Road.
Route 45: Shoulder work will close one lane of Route 45 intermittently as embankment and shoulder work are completed as part of the bridge replacement on Route 45 near Farley, MO. The Farley-Hampton Road is closed as part of this project through September 3.
