MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were injured, one seriously, in a crash in Morgan County early Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at McCasland Road, seven-tenths of a mile west of Route J in Morgan County at 2:07 a.m. Thursday.

A sport-utility vehicle driven by Jonathon T. Roach, 22, of Versailles, was eastbound on McCasland Road when it crossed the center of the roadway and ran off the opposite side.

Roach’s SUV then collided with the guardrail of a bridge before it rolled into a creekbed.

Roach and a passenger, Kody D. Frehse, 21, of Camdenton were not wearing seat belts, according to the Highway Patrol report. Frehse was moderately injured and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
