Route V in Chillicothe is currently undergoing some changes. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade speak with Street Commissioner Barry Arthur:
The project includes a new bridge and a new road direction that cuts down on sharp turns. Crews are currently clearing out brush and beginning demolition on the houses.
“They have the asbestos removal to take care of first, and then they will demo the houses and clear all of that stuff out of there,” said Arthur, “That is supposed up through the 19th, I believe.”
The City hopes to have the project complete in November.
