Search warrant in rural Waverly leads to drug allegations for four individuals

UPDATE: 12/11/2018, 8:34 a.m. — KMZU News can now identify those detained in Friday’s warrant service as Waverly locals Ellen Raney, 37 and Terry Berwaldt, 43; Hodge resident Corey Gilpin, 39 and Jennifer White Callen, 41 of Carrollton.

Formal charges have been sent to the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for consideration.

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — A search warrant served in Saline County last Friday led to the arrest of four occupants of a rural Waverly residence.

Saline County Sheriff Cindi Mullins said in a news release Monday that sheriff’s deputies carried out a search warrant in the 10000 block of 280th Road on Friday, December 7, and detained four occupants of the residence on drug-related allegations.

The nature of the drugs seized during the operation, carried out with assistance from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, was not disclosed.

The individuals have not been publicly identified at this time and formal charges are pending in a Saline County courtroom.
