Sedalia Businessman in Custody on Drug Charges

Two men are in custody at the Pettis County jail and one is a well-known Sedalia businessman.

According to Police 31-year-old Johnny Baker, an area salesman at two local car dealerships, was arrested following a lengthy investigation.

After a search warrant was issued police reportedly found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as a handgun and digital scales, along with a marijuana pipe underneath a couch where Baker’s son slept.

The residence is just down the street from a school for mentally disabled children.

A second man was also arrested. 25-year-old Justin Crum is being held on a $250,000 bond. Baker’s bond was set at $60,000.
