Sedalia City Council will meet Monday evening for a regularly scheduled council meeting

SEDALIA, Mo. — A regularly scheduled meeting of the Sedalia City Council is slated to take place in the Municipal Building in Sedalia Monday night.

Before the regular council meeting, the Council will convene for a pre-council work session at 6:30 p.m. There will be a  financial update and budget process presentation.

Council will then break up into three committees: finance and administration, public works and public safety. The Public Works Committee will review an ordinance accepting utility and ingress and egress easements from Kroeger Properties III, LLC., for a project at West Broadway and Industrial Drive.

The Finance and Administration Committee will review an agreement between the City of Sedalia and James B. Kaatz for a goal-setting workshop to help educate the Mayor and the City Council on strategic goal planning.

In the regular Council gathering at 7:00 p.m., the agenda lists a number of items . Council will review a report on the acceptance of the Citizen’s Traffic Advisory Commission minutes from Sept. 13.

The Council will review both the acceptance of the utility, ingress and egress easements from Kroeger Properties III LLC., for their project, as well as the agreement of the goal-setting workshop between the mayor, City Council and James B. Kaatz.

From there, the Council will review appointments, liquor licenses and the approval of department bills, as well as various items from the mayor, Council and city administrator.

The meeting will then adjourn to a closed session.

Both assemblies will gather in the City Council Chambers at the Sedalia Municipal Building.
