The Council for the city of Sedalia will gather for a regular session following pre-council committee meetings that start at 6 p.m. this (Mon.) evening. On the agenda is the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2014 budget. City Administrator Gary Edwards says the council has been working on the budget in one form or another since last November; he adds it’s a good budget despite the challenges of lower sales tax and a slightly larger budget than in the past, coming in at about $28-million.
