Sedalia Resident Arrested, Johnson Co.

A traffic stop in Johnson County resulted in the arrest of a Sedalia woman Thursday night. The highway patrol reports that Holly A. Boyer, 30, was pulled over for speeding and was not wearing a safety belt. During the investigation troopers found the substance commonly referred to as K-2, or Spice, a marijuana substitute. Boyer was taken to the Johnson County Jail and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoids, speeding and no seat belt. Boyer was released pending a court date.
