Semi, Car Collide in Independence

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a tractor-trailer and car.  The accident was reported around 9:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Highway 291 and Truman Road in Independence.  Northbound traffic on 291 is experiencing some slight delays.  At least one person is believed to be injured.
