Seven Charges Pending Against Salisbury Resident

A Salisbury resident was arrested following a traffic stop late Sunday night in Randolph County.  Ashley McAlister, 24, was taken into custody on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, assault on a law enforcement officer, driving while intoxicated – drugs, driving while suspended, speeding, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  McAlister was transported to the county jail to await the filing of formal charges.
