Thunderstorms are possible across the entire region Friday night.  Large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are possible.  These storms are tracking in a southerly direction.  There is a chance for more thunderstorms on Saturday, but this system is not expected to produce severe weather.

Hawblitzel added that if storms move into the area, temperatures this weekend could be lower than the current forecast indicates. Otherwise, he said people should plan for the possibility of high heat indices and relatively dry conditions for the weekend ahead.
