Sex Offender to Receive Sentence in Child Molestation Case
A Livingston County judge will decide the fate of a convicted child molester on Tuesday morning. Bryon Pride, 51, was already listed on the sex offender registry for attempted criminal sexual conduct with an eight-year-old in 1984 when the charges of statutory sodomy were filed. However, as part of a plea deal, Pride admitted in Nov. 2012 to one count of first-degree child molestation. He was released on his own recognizance less than a month later. Pride is scheduled to be sentenced at 9:00 a.m.
