The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has identified those allegedly responsible for at least two home burglaries that occurred within the last week.  The suspect or suspects took more than a dozen firearms from two residences in the northwest portion of the county, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Steve Cox said they are strongly considering turning the information over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for further action.  Five rifles, a compound bow, five shotguns, two muzzle loaders, and a handgun were taken during the most recent break-in.  The total number of firearms and weapons taken between the two burglaries has not been released.
