Shooting, Assault Case Set for Arraignment

A Marshall man is facing serious charges in Mercer County.

Eugene Pattie, Junior, 64, is charged with burglary, kidnapping and one count each of attempted murder, assault, attempted forcible rape, and two counts of armed criminal action.

Pattie allegedly shot David Niemeyer on the Mercer Square on the evening of May 10th before driving to the victim’s house and attempting to rape his wife, Virginia Niemeyer before being arrested by police.

Pattie is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday July 10th at 9 a.m.
