Single-vehicle accident in Daviess County leaves two injured, one severely

DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. — Two Neosho residents suffered injuries in Daviess County Tuesday afternoon as a result of a one-vehicle accident, according to a crash report from Missouri State Highway Patrol.

At approximately 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, Troop H was called to northbound I-35 approximately five miles north of Cameron. There, they discovered that Gary Richards, 63, lost control of his vehicle, running it off the right side of the road and into a tree.

Richards was transported to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries, while a passenger, Janell Miller, 60, received minor injuries. Miller was transported to Liberty Hospital as well.
