This announcement was made by Mayor Allegri at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting.

Allegri says the tax will go toward keeping roadways in the community in good condition.

He encourages residents to vote for the passage of this tax.

Allegri also pointed out a model of Slater’s Railroad Depot that was made by an 82-year-old Kenneth Kirkoff of Marshall.

Allegri went on to announce a public hearing coming up on March 4th for an annexation to have a large store move into the community.
