Slater Man Pleads Guilty to Storage Unit Theft

A Slater resident has admitted to breaking into 20 storage units at a Saline County storage facility.  Jerrad Gilpin, 19, pleaded guilty to a total of three counts of burglary and three counts of theft/stealing.  He was sentenced to five years probation.  William Griffith, 20, confessed to his involvement in December.  The pair is estimated to have stolen more than $12,000 worth of property.
