Slater Man Succumbs to Injuries Suffered Dec. 29th

A Slater man has died from injuries suffered in a one-vehicle crash this past Saturday night.

The highway patrol initially reported that 39-year-old Ralph King was driving northbound on 240 at Route P in Saline County when he lost control of the vehicle which ran off the roadway and overturned. He was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital, then transferred to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead Wednesday afternoon just before 5 p.m..
