SILVER Alert Issued by Independence Police – FOUND

Tony Conn

Update – Conn was found safe about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.  Police said the man’s family found him in his vehicle near U.S. 24 and Lee’s Summit Road.

The Independence Police Department has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for an elderly man that went missing between St. Luke’s Hospital and Truman Medical Center in Lee’s Summit. Authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for Tony Conn. He is described as a white male, 73-years-old with white hair, blue eyes and wearing a burgundy sweatshirt, blue jeans and blue sweat jacket. Mr. Conn has high blood pressure and suffers from dementia. He was en route to visit his wife at Truman Medical Center driving a green 1995 Ford Taurus station wagon with MO license U E 1 M 6 J.  At approximately 2:53 PM Tuesday, Mr. Conn’s credit card was used at a Casey’s in Chillicothe, MO.
